Born in Naples, Italy, in 1995, he was awarded the Danza&Danza Award for Emerging Choreographer in 2022.

In 2024, he was commissioned to create new works by the Rome Opera House, under the artistic direction of Eleonora Abbagnato, and by ŻfinMalta National Dance Company.

As a freelance choreographer, he created SKRIK (2023) for MM Contemporary Dance Company, which premiered at Operaestate Festival Veneto as part of Anticorpi XL – Prove d’Autore; DIVINA (2023) for Opus Ballet, a commissioned work paying tribute to Maria Callas; and WHITE ROOM (2022), also for Opus Ballet, supported by Virgilio Sieni National Dance Production Centre. An excerpt from WHITE ROOM, titled BEHIND YOU (2022), was selected for MASDANZA, where it received the Audience Award and a touring prize across the Canary Islands.

For Milan Fashion Week 2023, he created a duet for étoiles Eleonora Abbagnato and Jacopo Tissi, performed at Piccolo Teatro di Milano for Laura Biagiotti Fall/Winter 2023. For Ferrari Cavalcade 2023, he choreographed a solo for Eleonora Abbagnato and a quartet for the closing gala in Rome.

For his own company, all productions are produced by Körper – National Dance Production Centre and co-produced by Orsolina28 Art Foundation.

His latest creation for the company, SAMIA (2023), won the Rum for Dans call and premiered in Sweden in co-production with Orsolina28, Staatstheater Darmstadt / Hessisches Staatsballett, and the Italian Cultural Institute of Cologne.

COME NEVE (2022) was commissioned by Nitja Centre for Contemporary Art (Norway), the Italian Cultural Institute of Oslo, and Orsolina28. The work was later co-produced by Teatro Comunale di Vicenza / Festival Danza in Rete and selected for KOMMTANZ / Danza Urbana XL 2023.

RUA DA SAUDADE (2021) premiered at Torinodanza Festival in co-production with Teatro Stabile di Torino, Fondazione I Teatri Reggio Emilia, and Orsolina28. The work won the first edition of Call for Creation 2021 by Orsolina28, was selected for NID Platform 2021, and was a finalist for DNA – Appunti Coreografici 2021. In the same year, it also received awards at Cortoindanza, Twain – Direzioni Altre, and Certamen Coreográfico de Sabadell.

YOUR BODY IS A BATTLEGROUND (2020) was commissioned by Biennale Danza 2020 and was later selected for Campania Teatro Festival and L’Italia dei Visionari in 2021.

GLI AMANTI (2019) was selected for Aerowaves Twenty21, Anticorpi XL 2021, and Anghiari Dance Hub 2019.

RM94978 from Paris to Tenerife (2019), his debut choreographic work, was selected for Anticorpi XL and won the Premio Prospettiva Danza Padova.

Alongside his choreographic practice, Adriano has expanded his research into professional dance training, collaborating with international institutions including Kayzer Ballet, Agorà Coaching Project, DAF Dance Faculty, Artemente, EDA ACT, and others. He was also selected for Crossing the Sea and Big Pulse Visiting Artists at the Lyon Biennale 2023.

His works have been presented at major national and international festivals and venues, including Biennale Danza, Torinodanza Festival, Festival Aperto, Cross Festival, Dance Days Chania, Artissima, Moving Colors, and many others.
