Along a path made of digital flows, images, and videos, the performer guides the audience on a journey through their own data archive, their individual memory. The stage space opens to the real, connecting to remote geographies in an authentic media fresco that incorporates and attempts to restitute all information: the body becomes both witness and medium of the contents shared by the database, following streams of movement that crystallize into images, giving life to a personal choreographic archive. A body that explores, but also a body that attempts to “refigure” and bear witness to the visible world.

CLOUD is a reflection on the politics of images, on the media representation of bodies and the violence enacted upon them, and on memory as an archive of data—real and virtual—in motion. The work also emerged thanks to a dialogue initiated in 2019 with 8ballcommunity and NERO editions during a day of debates and exchanges centered on queer themes, and is inspired by the Manifesto of Queer Communism and by the reflections of Georgy Mamedov and Oksana Shatalova, radical activists from Kyrgyzstan.
