Maybe you’re an organ

that lives inside my body

because I feel you

so strongly within me.

 

The project Last Movement of Hope is a larger work made up of small dances. Each of these dances can exist as a short, stand-alone piece, or be combined with others to create a longer performance. It was born from the desire to explore and express the human experience through dance, with all its layers: our relationships with ourselves and with others, our fears, our struggles, and, above all, the hope that drives us forward.

 

I imagine this work as a book, a container of different stories, where each chapter represents a moment of creative research, an emotion, an encounter, or a reflection. Each chapter can stand on its own or connect with the others, like a journey that moves through past, present, and future in a constant search for meaning and answers.

 

The second chapter of this book, titled Organs, unfolds within this framework. With this chapter, I want to explore the intimacy of the human body—its fragility and its strength—symbolized by the organs that live within us, define us, and yet, so often, escape our awareness.
