An archive of gestures and movements that evolves from the most ancestral forms into postures belonging to athletics and dance. Only two pairs of shoes dress the performers’ bodies, becoming an additional subject within the scene.

An architectural investigation of the body that, moving through different registers, reveals the potential and creative sensitivity of nudity in relation to the object that is both acted upon and acts within the performance space, generating the urgency of grounding and the need not to take oneself too seriously.

Inspired by the surrealist movement and by the images of artists such as Ren Hang, Eveline Bencicova, and photographer Adey, Luna Cenere continues her research into the themes of the body, posture — predominantly the subjects’ backs turned towards the viewer — and gesture.

Landscapes made of bodies emerge, suggesting hidden meanings: choreographic scores that reveal the symbolic, rather than merely anthropomorphic, nature of our existence as bodies.
