THE PROJECT
Over the course of four months, the programme provides an environment for artistic growth and experimentation, combining training, creative practice, and dialogue with nationally and internationally recognised choreographers and performing arts professionals under the age of 35.
This expanded edition of the project broadens its educational and professional scope through five site-specific creative residencies, developed specifically for a group of emerging artists under the age of 25. Each seminar culminates in the creation of a new choreographic work, which will be presented at SpazioKörper, the 99-seat theatre of Körper – National Dance Production Centre.
With Körper Young_Extended, Körper aims to strengthen its role as a centre for the training, production, and dissemination of contemporary dance in the Campania region, fostering the development of a new generation of performers and choreographic artists.

21/09 Nicolas Grimaldi Capitello
He is the co-founder of Cornelia Dance Company, where he develops an artistic practice centred on physicality, movement dynamics, and stage presence. He graduated with honours from the National Academy of Dance in Rome and has performed with internationally renowned companies and choreographers, including Ultima Vez / Wim Vandekeybus, Abbondanza/Bertoni, Olivier Dubois, and Dimitris Papaioannou. Today, his work is primarily focused on Cornelia, with the aim of developing a distinctive artistic language within the contemporary dance landscape.
19/10 Nicola Galli
Born in Ravenna in 1990, he is a choreographer, dancer, lighting designer, and costume designer whose practice is rooted in body-based research. His work spans choreography, performance, installation, and visual design, developing artistic devices and actions that move fluidly across disciplines.
He is the creator of GenomaScenico, an educational and choreographic method that explores the expressive potential of performers through a playful and creative approach to instant composition.
2/11 Giorgia Pirozzi
She is a dancer and choreographer currently based in Pau, France. Throughout her career, she has worked with internationally acclaimed choreographers, including Emanuel Gat, Fleur Darkin, Theo Clinkard, Sharon Eyal, and Ohad Naharin.
In 2022, she began her choreographic career with the solo work Lachesis, created in collaboration with musician Claudia Delli Santi. In 2024, she completed the Countertechnique Teacher Training programme.
For her, choreography is a living organism, capable of moving between structure and freedom, lightness and surprise. Dance becomes a space of shared joy, where new perspectives can be imagined, explored, and dreamed into being.
16/11 Adriano Bolognino
Born in Naples in 1995, he received the Danza&Danza Award for Emerging Choreographer in 2022. His work is supported by Körper – National Dance Production Centre and Orsolina28 Art Foundation, and for the 2025–2027 triennium he is an Associate Artist of Teatro Comunale Città di Vicenza / Festival Danza in Rete.
His choreographic practice explores the dynamic relationship between the sensitivity and power of movement, revealing its profound emotional resonance.
21/12 Marianna Moccia
She is a choreographer and performer, and co-founder of FUNA Performing Arts. Her work Favole senza fili +1 won the HeartH call and premiered at Teatro Bellini in Naples in 2021. In 2022, her work ROOM22 was selected by Danza Urbana and received the FNAS Showcase Award.
She has created choreography for LIBERATO as well as for artists including Margherita Vicario, Giovanni Truppi, and Fast Animals and Slow Kids.
At the core of her artistic research is the exploration of movement as a space of tension between grounding and suspension, gravity and lightness, and the body and the urban environment.
